Find out what books I’ve hauled, what I’ve read, and what I’ve been watching in March. I’ve also done a round-up of some of my favourite posts from other bloggers, so don’t forget to check them out!
Fab development last month – I was sent my first physical review copy direct from the publisher (thanks, Walker Books!). It honestly feels like such an achievement, and as someone who prefers physical books to eBooks, I’m quite excited (sorry, NetGalley!).

I hope you had a fab Christmas and New Year! How is it 2016 already?! 2015 went by in a flash! I was planning to all all sorts of reading and blogging over the Christmas period, but I was super lazy and relaxed, and spent most of it with my sister pondering the meaning of life.

I’m so close to getting a long break off work – I can FEEL it. In the final stretch now and I literally cannot wait for some well-deserved (in my opinion) time off. I don’t even know what I did this month. I worked hard, got the majority of my Christmas shopping out of the […]
October was so slow for me blogging-wise, but life was super busy! I’m scheduling lots of posts for November, so hopefully you’ll be seeing a little more of me this month – if you’re still here, thanks for sticking around 🙂 A colleague and I went on a bit of a road trip to Dublin […]
Another month has come and gone, this year is just flying by! I can’t believe it’s Autumn again already. I don’t enjoy the darker evenings, but I do have a certain fondness for Autumn and Winter. It’s the run-up to Christmas (I know some people are Scrooges, but I’m really not!), which means I’m looking forward […]
I had so many wonderful plans this weekend to schedule lots of posts, but as they say “the best laid plans of mice and men…”. I’m sticking with my latest fitness craze, and while that’s a great thing, it’s also eating into my reading and blogging time more than I thought it would. Sacrifices, eh? On […]
Another month has been and gone, and now there are only 20 Friday’s left until Christmas… Mwahahaha. Sorry, not sorry. Anyways, lets get on with the monthly round up! The Books: As I predicted last month, there were plenty of purchases! The majority of the books came from charity shops though, which meant guilt-free cheap […]
We have reached the halfway point of 2015! WUT?! I feel a little like I’m back in the groove with reading and blogging, so lets see what I got up to this month… The Books: No purchases this month (that I can remember). Yus! After last month’s haul, I really didn’t need anything else to […]
So, I was hoping for great bloggy things in May – it was a slight improvement on April, but I’m still not blogging how I want to, as often as I want to. It seems at the minute, life is determined to get in the way! I’m going to roll with it, fighting it or […]
Where the hell did April go?!? 2015 seems to be going past much quicker than I was expecting it to – we’ll be at the halfway mark to Christmas shortly, and that is just scary! This month felt like a bit of a bust for me, but we’ll put together the monthly wrap-up anyways to see how […]
The Books: I have a massive girl-crush on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, so when I spotted three of her novels – Purple Hibiscus, Half of a Yellow Sun and Americanah on The Book People for £4.99 I could not pass those up! I also got three books from Philippa Gregory’s Order of Darkness YA series on The […]
Books: I did really well controlling the purchases this month! I did however receive some lovely gifts for my Birthday and won a competition or two! Brandie @ Brandie is a Book Junkie was kind enough to gift me Hopeless and Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover, I’ve already read them both, and the Finding Cinderella novella, […]
Books: I recently posted about how much I spent on books in 2014, and as a result, I’m trying to be an even more frugal spender in 2015. Not because I feel I spent too much in 2014 (I was very proud of myself, actually!), but because I now own too many unread books! First up, […]
Books: First up, the wonderful Stefani @ Caught Read Handed spoiled me for Belle’s EBE. I was the only UK blogger to take part, and it was a fabulous experience! I’ll be saving some pennies so I can do it again in 2015 as well as a few other exchanges! I would highly recommend more UK […]
