Stacking the Shelves & Wrappin’ It Up April & May 2017

We’re almost halfway through the year, and finally our little island got some sunshine! April was wonderful, and put me in a GREAT mood, but it was also kinda dreadful to be stuck in work wishing you were in a beer garden instead…

Find out what books I’ve hauled, what I’ve read, and what movies I’ve been watching in April and May. I’ve also done a round-up of some of my favourite posts from other bloggers, so don’t forget to check them out!

Is it acceptable to do a monthly wrap-up when you’re halfway in to the next month? I’m just gonna say yes and roll with it.

The past 6 weeks have been hectic – I went on my first ever Hen Party (which will go down in history as the BEST Hen Do ever!), had a promotion in work (which has been crazy busy), I’ve been working on a couple of unexpected freelance gigs, and I’ve been doing a decent amount of reading.

Fab development last month – I was sent my first physical review copy direct from the publisher (thanks, Walker Books!). It honestly feels like such an achievement, and as someone who prefers physical books to eBooks, I’m quite excited (sorry, NetGalley!).
