A little bit about me:

As far back as I can remember I have always loved to read and from a very early age I’m pretty sure you could always find me in my bedroom with my nose in a well-thumbed book. I was never the sporty type, preferring to curl up with a good book and ignore the rest of the world for a while instead. When I was younger, the most exciting day in the entire school year was when the Scholastic Book Fair arrived, and choosing which books to buy from the delicious selections became the single most important decision I’d ever have to make.

I’m 27 now, and these days I can usually be found in my bedroom with my nose in a great book, devouring stories by my favourite authors as often as I can, and book-shopping can still reduce me to a quivering mess of indecision and regret, whether online or in the middle of my local Waterstone’s. I guess some things never change.

My job involves quite a lot of writing, mostly for corporate communications and marketing, but I would love to have my own book published someday. I’m not too sure what this blog will become, I had a spark of inspiration and decided to go for it, so I think you can expect reviews, rants and general ravings from a self-confessed book geek!
