Liebster Award Nomination Round 2

Happy Dance Gif

I’ve been nominated for a second Liebster Award by To Draw a Mockingbird!

I was previously nominated by Joey at Thoughts and Afterthoughts. You can see my original post here, so I won’t be nominating again, but I will answer the questions cause that’s always fun…

1. What is a movie you could watch over and over?

There are so many possibilities for this and I do tend to watch my favourite movies so often that I can practically quote the entire thing. Current favourites include Dirty Dancing, Mean Girls, Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, the Bourne movies, the Harry Potter movies, Miss Congeniality, Law Abiding Citizen, I really could just keep going…

2. What is your favourite book genre?

I don’t know if I can pick a favourite. I used to read ridiculous amounts of “chick-lit” but around 2/3 years ago I got so incredibly bored of the generic stories and predictable plots that I took a break…and haven’t returned to them. I love dystopian novels, contemporary, YA, “issues” novels (think Noughts and Crosses and The Fault in Our Stars). I’ll give anything a go.

3, Do you have a schedule for blogging or do you update randomly?

I participate in two weekly memes – Top Ten Tuesday and Five Friday Favourites, and I do a Stacking the Shelves post monthly. Other than that I post pretty randomly.

 4. How do you beat procrastination?

Uhhh. I don’t. I’m a pretty bad procrastinator. I’m really efficient and goal-orientated in work, I get a sense of achievement from getting things done, but at home? Not the same.

5. What is one thing in life you will regret if you don’t try doing it?

This is a tough question. When I was younger I thought I wanted to travel, most people thought because of my personality that I would travel or move to another country, but ironically I’ve ended up being a bit of a home-bird. At the minute probably getting my work-life balance right and remembering that I’m still young and should be enjoying my “freedom years” more without stressing over the big stuff.

6. What is your biggest fear?

Life going past far, far too quickly.

7. If you were granted any wish right now, what would you do with it?

I don’t want to say win the lottery, ’cause that goes wrong a lot. But it would be great to be financially stable forever – not super rich, but enough to never have to worry about it so you can get on with really enjoying life.

8. When you go to a theme park, what do you head for first?

The Waltzers probably, or the 8-legged octopus type thing that flings you around the place.

9. Who is your favourite Harry Potter character and why?

Aw, come on! Impossible to answer. I really liked Professor McGonagall (who in the last movie was basically Professor McBadass), I think she gets overlooked too often, and I was a big fan of Remus Lupin, and an even bigger fan of Sirius Black. And I could go on forever about how great Dumbledore is…

10. What song is stuck in your head right now?

This has been in my head since the weekend. When I hear a song, without even realising it I’ll be humming it a few hours later.

That’s all the questions for this post, thanks to To Draw A Mockingbird for the nomination, if anyone would like to answer the questions feel free to link to your post in the comments so I can nosy at them! 🙂
