So, first there was my Banned Books Giveaway (the winner chose The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime), then there was my Books to Movies Giveaway (the winner chose It’s Kind of A Funny Story), and now my fabulous readers, I bring you my Spooktacular Giveaway Hop! This is likely the last giveaway I will be hosting until the new year, because Christmas is expensive 😀 .
For this giveaway, you can pick a super scary read, or a less nail-biting option that’s more romantic vampire than killer beast. For some inspiration you can check out my Ominous October… For Scaredy Cats post, but the book you pick should have some sort of Halloween theme, whether it’s a murder mystery, paranormal pleasure or tantalising thriller!
This giveaway is international (as long as The Book Depository ships to you!), and you can choose any book you like that has been made into a movie, up to the value of $10.

Awwwh hell yeah I’m entering ;3
I think for a creepy read, I would probably pick a work by Stephen King, because I’ve not read enough of his works…

LOL! I would go more for a paranormal than an actual scary, but if I won this one (which I can’t, obvs) I’d pick Practical Magic, since I found out that movie is a book I’ve been itching to buy it!

ahhh the book is so good- I need to read more of her work!

I’d choose either The Coldest Girl in Cold Town. I really like that title, lol. I gotta’ have my mystery this Halloween! Mystery and horror kind of go hand-in-hand to me.

I like the title too – and I can do a good mystery much easier than a horror, not just as scary! Lol

I think I would like to pick a new scary book but right now I am leaning towards an old favorite–Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. I was young when I first read it and it scared me. Truthfully, most Stephen King books scare me. Great reading for late at night!

I have never read anything by King, I can barely sit through his movies, I’m such a scaredy cat!

One of Stephen King’s books.

Popular choice, I should maybe read something by him. Misery maybe, as I’ve already seen the movie, so the read shouldn’t scare me too much!

I would choose Big Driver by Stephen King because I am currently watching the movie and the movie is great so the book has to be better.

I bet Practical Magic would be fun to read, but I’d probably try to squeeze in something in my TBR-because-my-library-doesn’t-have-it-digitally list. Most of those involve paranormal/magic stuff. I’m dying to finish the A Touch trilogy, and I’d love to get my hands on Born of Deception. But really, I’m a bookworm and will read most things. Just picky about non-fiction.

I don’t read as much paranormal as I should, and I know Practical Magic is supposed to be really good!
