25 Days OF Blogmas!

25 Days of BlogmasYes, you heard it here first – I’ve officially gone mad. So, for the last few months I’ve been a little absent on the blogging front. I haven’t left the community, far from it, but I am posting a lot less regularly. Vlogmas is something I’m used to seeing on BookTube, but it wasn’t until Samantha @ Spines and Covers commented on my recent discussion post about the death of “buy-links”, that I discovered Blogmas is a thing too. I have used Samantha’s beautiful graphic for this series (which links to her original post when clicked!).

What should you expect to see during Blogmas on Confessions of a Book Geek?

Honestly? I have no idea. I’m not even sure what I’m going to write yet myself. I just decided approximately 5 minutes ago, to go for it! I already have a review of Uprooted up for December 1st, and my discussion post for yesterday, so now I just need to get super motivated and bring you something interesting to read every day. *GULP* Piece of cake.

    Ohhhh how exciting that you are being nutty and participating too! 😉 I have been trying to write two to three posts a day to get ahead keyword here is trying though lol. I am going to try doing half of Blogmas as Christmas themed posts, so maybe you could do stuff like fav Christmas music, your Christmas traditions, or how your Christmas day usually goes? But, yeah, like you I haven’t been blogging as much so I was hoping that Blogmas would give me some inspiration! Anyways, good luck and I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

      It is definitely NUTTY. I’m going from around 5 posts per month for the past 3 or 4 months, to at least 24… Insanity at its finest! I think this challenge may inspire me to include more lifestyle/personal posts on the blog. It’s still very definitely a book blog, but there is a person behind here too. I have an idea or two for some new features for next year, I’m excited to get my blogging mojo back!

      I did Christmas music yesterday, and I’m doing Christmas movies tomorrow (THANK YOU for the inspiration!), then I’ll break it up with a review or two, and I have a Bookish Gift Guide already on my blog, but I’ll do something along a similar vein to draw attention to it again, as there are 20 discount codes in that post that I want to promote. I’m definitely going to do a post on quirky family traditions, because I love hearing about other people’s! R xx

      Hi, Amanda. Hope you are keeping well? I usually do the Top Ten Tuesday post for that, and it’s been AGES since I’ve done a TTT, so I think that will definitely be making the cut this year! R xx

      IT REALLY IS. I’M DYING. Why did I think this would be a good idea? Lol I’m hoping to schedule lots tonight, including my review of Ava. I’ve posted the book on too. Sorry it took so long, work is MENTAL at the minute. R xx
