Another month has been and gone, and now there are only 20 Friday’s left until Christmas… Mwahahaha. Sorry, not sorry. Anyways, lets get on with the monthly round up!
The Books:
As I predicted last month, there were plenty of purchases! The majority of the books came from charity shops though, which meant guilt-free cheap books for me, and a good deed or two into the bargain (photo to follow!)
I also signed up to the #otspsecretsister project, which is currently in Round 3, but it’s the first time it’s ever been done in the UK. My Secret Sister got me a beautiful hardback copy of Uprooted, which I’m around halfway through and really enjoying. You can find out more about otspsecretsister here, or stalk our tweets! Catching up on them is addictive, and it’s making me feel good already!
Movies and TV Shows:
Movies and TV Shows have definitely taken a back seat this month, possibly because I’ve started going to the gym, and I’m sticking with it (…so far!). Anyone who knows me will know this is a BIG deal. At the minute I go three times a week, so the only thing I’ve been watching lately is The Originals on NetFlix. Oh, and I LOVED Married At First Sight UK when it aired.

In Case You Missed It:
This month I read and reviewed Grey (2/5), You (3.5/5), and The Nightingale (5/5). I really need to get my finger out and catch-up on reviews, because I have so many to do!

This month I also did a 6 month challenge update, the Mean Girls Book Tag, the 1989 Book Tag, and wrote two discussions – one on how I Created A Monster, and one on BookTubing vs. Book Blogging.
My most popular posts in July (except for TTT posts) were my review for All The Light We Cannot See, my BookTubing vs. Book Blogging discussion, and the interview with the cover designer for the new Bloomsbury Harry Potter covers.
How was your July? Talk to me in the comments!
Great wrap up! I’m going to start reading the books that I bought too. It’s so hard when you work and go to school, lol.

LOL! It has really blown up this time. It’s the third round of it, and there’s over 200 participants. It’s a penpal type project for book bloggers that lasts 6 months each time. We all completed a questionnaire and get matched up to send each other cheer and gifts every month, but secretly, we try not to reveal who we are until the end. This is the info post for the last sign up – http://www.bookaddictsguide.com/2015/07/11/on-the-same-page-secret-sister-project-round-3-sign-ups/ this round runs until Feb, so sign ups will likely be open again in Jan. You should join it! R x

I looove buying books second-hand. SO MUCH SAVINGS (although I do feel sad that I’m not necessarily supporting the authors money-wise, but at least I write reviews, right?! :D) Ahhh I love all these links and need to read one or twenty of them. Thanks for adding me in there. ;-)))

I listened to The Nightingale on audio and it was FAB! In fact it makes me want to go buy a print copy too just so I can own a physical reminder of it. And yay, well done for hitting the gym 3 times a week! I must keep an eye on #otspsecretsister for the next sign up, it looks like a lot of fun.
Happy August!

I never do audio, and I often struggled to even fit it into my lifestyle to try it, but now I’m going to the gym, I’m thinking of trying one to see if it can keep me entertained. I find staring at the walls so boring! They play music channels, but when the ads come on mid-stride on the crosstrainer, it can be very off-putting!! You should have a print copy, for definite. It’s one of my favourite reads of the year, and I can’t wait to get to more Hannah. Going into week 4 of the gym and I’m still loving it, there have been days when I could see it far enough, but I go and feel better for it in the end. I’m seeing a difference in the fit of my clothes already, and it is spurring me on to try harder. I have a PT session this week to get some guidance and tips on how to use some of the machines I’ve been avoiding, mostly weight training, and then I’ll be flying! R x

Nice wrap up. Bummer you didn’t care for Grey. I have bought it but haven’t read it yet. I was surprised how quickly it was reduced to 99 cents, even for a short time.
