So Obsessed With and Belle of the Literati are hosting a Re-Read Challenge for 2015, and I’m signing up! I’ve mentioned a few times on here that since I started blogging I’ve pretty much stopped rereading, and I want to do something about that in 2015.
The Challenge runs from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2015, and I’ll be aiming to reread at least 10 books. I’ll be posting reread reviews with the following headings: When I First Read, What I Remember, Why I Wanted To Re-Read, How I Felt After Re-Reading, and Would I Re-Read Again. I’ve no idea what I’ll be rereading, as I’ll be doing it according to my mood, but here are some books I would love to get to:
I’m also going to put the Challenge badge in my sidebar and link it to this post, so that when I do reread a book, I can keep a record of the reviews below:
January 2015 – ReRead Review Maybe Someday
Are you doing any challenges in 2015? Are you participating in this challenge? Let me know in the comments, and wish me good luck!
Awesome! I just did a reading challenges post yesterday, and one of the ones I’m participating in is a re-reading challenge. I love re-reading! It’s so comforting to visit old fictional friends, and it can be interesting to see what new insights you glean from each reading.

I definitely think we should be able to make more time for our favourites 🙂 R x

I love this challenge! I am a firm believer in rereading an old favorite. I have been working my way through Harry Potter all over again but I decided that didn’t completely count so I have decided to reread the Hunger Games series again and I will pick at least one or two other series to revisit. I love revisiting old friends and am thrilled to read familiar passages and I really enjoy when I come across parts that Ii had forgot all about. I hope u enjoy your reread favorites this coming year.

I want to reread HP this Christmas while I’m off, but again – it won’t really count. I used to love rereading, but with blogging and big TBRs of great books to read I never get the chance to fit them in, so I’m hoping this will help to motivate me to reread more. You’re making me excited about rereading!! R x

I usually don’t really participate in challenges except the goodreads one, but a re-read challenge is an awesome idea! I do not re-read as often as I used to and there are so many books that I would love to experience again.

There are so many challenges available to participate in, but I don’t want to bog myself down. This way, I can have a goal with my GRs challenge, but try to squeeze more rereads in there too! R x

I like those headings as I think they’ll lead to some interesting thoughts. Good luck re-reading. I love it too and don’t make enough time for it.

Fingers crossed I actually stick with it! So many books on my physical TBR and so many great releases next year! R x

I love this idea and SO wish I could say I’m doing it and actually follow through. Every year I say I’m going to reread some of my favorites and I never do. All the shiny new books get my attention first. I wonder how I’d feel about some of my favorites if I got to read them again. I definitely want to reread 50 before the movie comes out. If that’s the only series I get to reread next year, it’s better than normal for me! I’d also love to reread all of my CoHo books. I’m going to try it…maybe. 😉

I’m the same, and the thrill of a purchase is too hard to resist! I want to read the 50 trilogy again too – oh, oh a buddy read and joint reread review?!?! R x

LOL I know!! Rereading is something I always talk about and rarely do! My theory is to go with addictive books for rereads, so at least that way I have extra motivation!! R x

I love the idea of this challenge! I used to reread all the time before blogging, and I really miss it. I’d love to be able to squeeze in some rereads next year 🙂 Best of luck with the challenge!
(And oh gosh, I really need to reread The Hunger Games trilogy! Seeing it on your list is making me want to read it ASAP :))

I used to reread all the time as a kid, I knew my favourites as if they were my stories! But as I’ve gotten older, and I guess have my own disposable income (!), my rereading has decreased. With blogging now, it’s practically non-existent, so 2015 is the year of the reread! I haven’t even seen Mockingjay Part 1 yet, I’m a disgrace lol I want to reread them before the last movie comes out though. R x
